Job Description

Our Client has evolved from being a regional supplier of doors and architectural hardware to becoming one of the UKs largest manufacturers of performance doorsets and architectural hardware suppliers. With several factories and nationwide coverage, theytake a distinctive approach to performance doorset solutions, emphasizing compatibility in design to guarantee optimal performance through design.Our Client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join their team in London. As the Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within London and the South East, building and maintaining strong relationshipswith customers, and delivering exceptional customer service.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets within the designated region, with a focus on Tier 1 & 2 Contractors, Architects, and Local Authorities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, architects, and specifiers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical advice and support to customers on Our Clients range of performance doorsets, ironmongery and finishes.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services to customers.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify business opportunities and potential risks.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the building materials or construction industry, with a strong focus on selling doors, ironmongery and finishes.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the sales process, particularly with Tier 1 & 2 Contractors, Architects, and Local Authorities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Results-driven with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel within the designated region.
