Job Description

Trainee TechnicianJob RoleDue to continued growth, our client near Stamford is now looking to expand their production team. This is an ideal position for someone looking to progress in engineering working on a hands-on basis. If you have recently left college or have an engineeringor electrical background and have the right attitude/enthusiasm then this represents a great opportunity to learn and be rewarded accordingly.Job Responsibilities

  • Assembly of products to a high-quality standard
  • Ability to work to precise tolerances and instructions
  • To assemble equipment working from engineering drawings
  • Have a positive approach to continuous improvement activities
  • To be able to work as a team or as an individual to reach required goals.
  • Working to time scales and having a sense of urgency.
Person Specification
  • Assembly experience is desirable but not essential
  • Have a can do and flexible attitude whilst taking pride in your work
  • Communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors on any production related issues
  • Experience with the use of hand tools
  • Understanding of engineering drawings an advantage
  • Ensure your workstation and surrounding areas are compliant with health and safety procedures.
Hours of Work and Pay
  • 37.50 hours per week
  • Days Mon-Thurs 7.40 - 17:00 Early finish on Fri 7.40 - 11.50
  • Salary from £11.21 to £13.21 DOE
  • Overtime @ 1.33
  • 36 days holiday per annum
