Care Support Workers (Personal Assistant)Location: Easterhouse, G34 9JJ.Salary: £10.90 per hour.Contract: Part-Time and Full-Time contracts available up to 39 hours. Various Shift patterns including Days, Evenings, Waking Nights/Sleepovers.You will be part of a team of Personal Assistants supporting people in their new homes to form a community of adults who have a range of support needs, including Learning Disabilities and Autism. Support can range from providing personal care to helpingthem access their local community. Each person will have their own team with opportunities to tap into adhoc support when required. This modern development will use the latest technology to assist people to maintain independence and support them in the transitioninto their first home. You will form part of a vibrant team making a real difference to lives of the people you support.Let us introduce you to Ellie:Ellie enjoys playing games like Dominoes and Snakes and Ladders, being able to bake and cook, and be active in her community with a purpose. Ellie is also very creative and loves to draw, paint and colouring in. She likes to sing and dance, she likes allkinds of music but her favourite singer is Kylie. Ellie will often start singing songs that she makes up on the spot which can be about anything such as ASDA or chocolate but they are always catchy! Ellie has a good sense of humour and likes to chance herluck with people as she finds it hilarious, she loves the song Rhythm is a dancer except she sings Ellie is a chancerSadly, it’s not always possible for Ellie to enjoy what many people would consider these simple pleasures’ without proper, dedicated support.
