Job Description

Stanton House is currently recruiting for a Finance Operations Manager to join a PE-backed Business in Sussex on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. This contract pays £300-£400pd Inside IR35 and offers hybrid working with 2-3 days in the office.Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of 8-10 people from Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billings.
  • Ensure the end-to-end processes for AP, AR and Billings.
  • Ensure timely and precise processing of invoices, payments and collections.
  • Implement process enhancements for improved efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
  • Collaborate across teams to streamline workflows.
  • Continuously evaluate financial processes for optimisation opportunities.
  • Utilise technology solutions for automated and optimised financial processes.
  • Work on Ad Hoc projects as and when required.
To be suitable for this role you must have the following:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Substantial experience managing both AP and AR functions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing audit requirements for AP/AR teams.
  • Experience in implementing and overseeing financial systems and technologies.
  • Strong and empathetic team management skills.
