Job Description

I am currently seeking a Data Platforms & Integration Specialist for a permanent job opportunity with my client in East Sussex. The role is currently 100% remote until summer at the earliest and will offer a lot of flexibility post COVID! This organisation a prominent event solutions business (virtual and physical) attracting up to 15,000 visitors.The Data Platforms & Integration Specialist will take responsibility for the end-to-end life cycle of all customer data withing within the group. You will develop processes and technical strategies, manage integrations, and deliver insights to improve business procedures.Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all data feeds and work with stakeholders to ensure all data sources are accurate.
  • Define, implement, and manage integrations across the system/platform portfolio.
  • Work the event and tech director as they work towards transforming the perception of data
  • Responsibility for the ongoing management, maintenance, administration and support of data and integration platforms/systems whilst having a focus on continuous improvement
  • Contribute to the development of data and integration strategies acting as the link between the business and 3rd party vendors.
  • Interpret business requirements and convert to technical specifications
  • Monitor and report performance, provide cause analysis and resolve issues unaided or with 3rd party teams
    • Key Requirements
  • Solid understanding of relational databases - SQL
  • Experience of working with visualisation tools such as Power BI
  • Track record of working with integration platforms and APIs
  • Strong communication and people skills; comfortable managing people at all levels of the organisation
  • Able to work with limited supervision and show initiative where relevant.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent general IT and MS Office skills
