An exciting opportunity for a Digital Archivist to join the team at the prestigious Royal School of Needlework located at Hampton Court Palace, London. We have a Collection and Archive of some 60,000 objects including embroideries, designs, photographsand documents which are used for student reference and public exhibitions. The King’s Robe of State; The Queen’s Robe of Estate; The AnointingScreen; The Stole Royal and Girdle; The Chairs of Estate and The Chairs of State.The Digital Archivist role:The RSN has raised the money to start a three-year project to digitise its Textile Collection and part of its Archive of papers, photographs and designs, going right back to the founding of the school.
