Job Description

We are seeking a credible sales professional within the medical device industry to support and representan exciting portfolio across the East Midlands.The company Our client is a well-respected medical device company who are passionate about improving patient care and saving lives. They produce innovative, high-quality medical devices and services across a variety of markets in the medical technology space that are usedin hospital departments around the world. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that has fantastic growth plans. The role You’ll join a Vascular and Infusion division that is growing following a recent merger. As a trusted advisor to healthcare professionals, you’ll provide timely and accurate account management, with a high level of responsibility for planning, implanting andsupport related to sales of the Infusion portfolio. Responsibilities include:

  • Owning NHS Acute, Private and Alternate site accounts
  • Selling products and services to meet or exceed assigned territory targets
  • Constantly improving the competitive position
  • Developing a sales strategy for all stakeholders
  • Delivering excellent customer service to maintain high standards set by the organisation
  • Hitting targets and goals autonomously and collaboratively with the team
  • Articulating the latest trends and guidance, competitor knowledge and an in-depth understanding of the infusion therapy portfolio
  • Attending conferences as required
  • Leveraging relationships with key opinion leaders
The requirements You will prove yourself to be a hungry sales individual, ideally with knowledge of capital sales and procurement, as well as:
  • Bachelors’ degree (Nursing degree is a plus)
  • Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology with some knowledge of clinical disease states particularly related to surgery and anaesthesia
  • Experience in sales with evidence of building a long-term partnership
  • Positive attitude and can-do approach with strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Creative and innovative
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to apply new approaches to your priorities
  • Strategic planning, decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Computer literate (including Microsoft Office and CRM)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Must be able to travel, with occasional overnight stays
