Job Description

We are successful, dynamic, ambitious, and looking for great team players to grow with us.We know that our people are our greatest asset, and we are delighted to be growing our team further as we have a requirement for a Regional Operations Manager.This is an excellent opportunity for a Regional Operations Manager to lead our branches across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire region. You will provide effective operational management and control to allocated branches in order to achieve Eurocell Plc requirements in terms of operating costs, health & safety and the long term well-being of the business.As the Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing your team of Branch Managers to drive sales, growth and profit, delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance across your region whilst driving the operational performance.

  • Duties:
  • Oversee a number of trade branches (c10) across the area
  • Encourage the region’s branch management team to develop trade counter business to optimise sales and market share growth
  • Responsible for the regions performance against company KPI targets
  • Ensure development of the customer service and management of the branches
  • Identify health and safety hazards and issues in the region’s depots
  • Ensure daily rolling stock checks are completed within the branches
  • Carrying out interviews for new employees into the depots
  • Undertake bi-annual internal audits within the branches as per company requirements
  • Key Skills / Experience:
  • Strong track record in depot / branch management within the building or industrial supplies
  • Multi-site operations
  • Comprehensive and working knowledge of SAP
  • Strong people management, with excellent communication and motivational skills
  • Proven track record in sales and performance management
  • Self-motivated, target orientated, proactive in approach and have great commercial acumen
  • A confident IT user
  • Strong implementer who can take appropriate action from a set of agreed plans, data & processes
  • Driven and enthusiastic with an ability to inspire and motivate others
  • A “can do”, solution focussed outlook
  • Authentic, clear communicator with the ability to deliver simple, impactful communications and importantly, not afraid to face tough conversations and own the message
  • A valid driving licence is essential
