Working with PET-Xi Training is extremely rewarding, and you get to play a vital part in an operation that helps peoples lives every single day.This is where you come in!Purpose of the Job:Teaching Assistants play a vital role in the PET-Xi classroom dynamic. Depending on the size of the cohort in attendance there will always be two to three supports in the classroom running our innovative, multi-award winning lessons. We cover both primaryand secondary schools.They are the eyes and ears of the team, watching, listening, and identifying learners who may not be fully engaged or are struggling with the subject content.We work Nationally so we try to recruit locally however the ability to travel up to one hour or stay overnight is an advantage. We cover mileage and Hotel expenses; further details will be available at interview.This role is extremely enjoyable and massively rewarding! You would form part of a small team - helping to assist our amazing Teachers in the classroom, working in harmony together helping students and delivering outstanding lessons every time! Duties willinclude:• Building rapport with our learners• Motivating and building confidence in learners• Working as part of a team• Supporting learners with their work• Staying alert and attentive to learners’ needs at all times• Drawing out ideas and starting discussions when learners go to task• Marking learners workWe motivate and inspire students, providing positive learning experiences, creating a culture of engagement but most importantly … WE MAKE THE LESSONS FUN!We have over the last 25 years helped over 200,000 students nationwide, delivering intensive courses in schools to learners from Primary right through to GCSE, helping them to achieve the results they deserve!We have work available immediately, the work is offered on a self-employed/sub-contract basis and is completely flexible so can fit around other work you may be doing.
