Due to the nature of this contract, the successful candidate will need to hold Government SC Security clearance.The Project Manager will manage multiple projects to ensure the successful delivery of multi-discipline projects, experience of working to CCS terms and conditions is desirable.The Project Manager will work with the client, professional services and suppliers where required to ensure that each project is delivered in accordance with the Project Plan - safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standard.The Project Manager will be the focal point for managing Client expectations and will deliver all projects in line with OCS’s management systems, policies and procedures.You will be responsible for the financial outcome and monthly reporting of your projects, this should include understanding the tender and reviewing the costs included in the bid.Benefits

Key Responsibilities:Client
  • Working closely with the client counterpart and their agents at all stages of the project
  • Working with the client to implement opportunities for innovative cost reductions
  • Ensuring that communication with the client is established and maintained throughout the life of each project
  • Meeting or exceeding client expectation for each project
Project Management / Planning & Organising
  • Ensuring effective communication with the operations manager/team to provide support and escalate to your line manager on key points at the earliest opportunity.
  • Planning work in a way which ensures that key milestones and completion dates are achieved.
  • Setting up strategic planning controls covering the full scope of works for all disciplines including the procurement programme, technical proposals, construction method appraisal, value enhancement and risk analysis controls, tender event schedules, designmanagement strategy, project planning and Project Management systems.
  • Monitoring and reviewing project requirements / achievements, identifying issues which may impact on project delivery and escalating these where necessary
  • Undertaking an assessment of all Project risks including health, safety, environment and quality of product.
  • Regularly reviewing the Project Management Plan and contractor’s methods of work to ensure they remain suitable for the task.
  • Ensuring suitable Commissioning, Inspection and Test Plans are in place for all work carried out before handover.
Health & Safety
  • Reviewing the contract and scope of works at handover and preparing the Construction Phase Health and Safety Plan (CPP) or Management Plan (MP) and all associated documentation.
  • Ensuring all employees and contractors are aware of their legal duties and the requirements for health and safety outlined within the CPP or MP and associated documentation.
  • Ensuring contractors work in accordance with their RAMS and any site specific requirements imposed by OCS and the client.
  • Ensuring risk assessments and method statements are completed where required and that toolbox talks take place on all projects.
  • Making sure that any action points arising from site safety surveys, audits, accident reports and other recommendations are successfully closed off.
  • Helping create and maintain a positive safety culture, always leading by example.
  • Ensuring that all health, safety and environmental incidents and complaints are reported and investigated.
  • Detailed health and safety responsibilities are set out within both the CPP and MP as well as procedures, and it is your responsibility to understand these.
About You:
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • Must have SC Clearance and be willing to work between various site locations in the area.
Mandatory
  • Experience of successfully managing multi-discipline projects.
  • PC literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft office.
  • Experience of commercial management and reporting on WIP.
