Job Description

The Company: Product Support Engineer

  • Now looking to strengthen the internal technical support team with the recruitment of 2 high calibre Product Support Engineers.

The Role of the Product Support Engineer:
  • Providing technical support on either mechanical or electrical applications.
  • Setting up and programming PLCs, motor drivers and industrial communications.
  • Design and deliver training courses/presentations to European subsidiaries.
  • Provide industry leading support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working on a project basis you will be able to prioritise and manage multiple projects.
  • Provide excellent customer service by Email, Teams and occasionally on site with the customers.

The Ideal Person for the Product Support Engineer:
  • Strong engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical motion control for industrial applications.
  • Excellent technical backgrounds with either mechanical or electrical experience.
  • Must have a hands-on approach.
  • Knowledge of PLCs and Ladder or Structured Text programming language.
  • Servo drive experience a bonus, or fluid power.
  • Able to work in a large supportive team.
  • Strong IT skills.
