Job Description

Information Security Cloud EngineerLocation: Hybrid or Remote workingOur client is seeking experienced Cloud Engineers to join their Global InfoSec team. They are looking for someone to implement security policies for their migration to cloud project, which could be: Migrating tech stacks to the cloud, implementing securitycontrols, and building brand-new vulnerability management within pipelines.If this sounds like you and would like to work with purpose and autonomy Then apply today to find out more!Information Security is taken very seriously, and our client is investing heavily in this vital function.What you will be doing:

  • Support and continuously enhance their existing security services for Cloud
  • Build strong relationships with both technical and business stakeholders and reporting
  • Azure security environment
  • Working within a cloud engineering team to develop and implement security policies.
  • Migrating the entire Microsoft tech stack and implementing security controls
  • Implement new or upgraded security measures or controls, and document system or process changes.
  • Review security violation reports or logs, investigate possible security exceptions, and coordinate with internal teams or external agencies as needed, including managed service providers.
  • Develop and execute security controls, defenses, and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce, and web-based systems.
  • May advise on security controls for projects.
  • May advise on penetration testing and vulnerability assessments of applications, operating systems, and/or networks.
  • May conduct complex clean-up of legacy environments
  • Research and evaluate cybersecurity threats and perform root cause analyses.
  • May perform as "Level 3" support in the event Managed Service provider is unable to resolve an issue.
  • May review projects to ensure alignment with Security Requirements and/or represent info security on projects, when necessary.
  • May conduct oversight of a particular area of Managed Service, when necessary
About You:
  • Have a depth understanding of cloud technologies (Azure)
  • Have a sound knowledge of privileged access management, vulnerability management, secure remote access, secrets management, and access control
  • At least 2 years of experience working in Security Engineering, Threat Response, Security Operations, IT Operations, IT Compliance and/or IT Governance, Cloud Engineering, Application Development, and Testing, or similar work experience
  • Ideally a bachelors degree in IT, IS, or Mathematics is preferred however not essential
  • Security credentials are welcome but are not essential
  • Microsoft Cloud Security/Cloud Policy
  • Azure DevOps

  • Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Dynamics NAV
  • Dynamics 365 Sales
  • Dynamics Microsoft Power Apps
  • Microsoft Defender
  • Microsoft Sentinel
  • LS RETAIL
