Job Description

Head of Performance (Improvement and Insight) - Home basedMidlands/East of England - Home based with travel across our geography as requiredUp to £55,000 per annum (plus car allowance and benefits)PermanentClosing date: Thursday 11th February 2021 at middayHigh-performing Head of Improvement and Insight sought to join our newly created Change and Improvement Directorate.If you have successful and demonstrable experience of helping an organisation improve through the creation of effective data analytics usage then we’d like to share our vision and role with you.The OpportunityReporting to the Director of Change and Improvement, this key leadership role will have a significant impact on the Groups’ improvement agenda. You will lead and shape the Organisation’s approach to Improvement and Insight, developing an ambitious Improvement Strategy that enables us to perform at our best. This role advertised is known internally as a Head of Improvement and Insight.Responsible for developing and embedding the overall performance reporting framework this role will support the wider organisation in being able to access, understand and use data to make better informed decisions. To be successful in this role you will have;

  • Ensured performance and insight data is in the right place, at the right time.
  • Provided high-quality and reliable business intelligence and analytics.
  • Responsibility for the compliance with all necessary legal requirements commensurate with your role to minimise and alleviating risk
  • Demonstrable experience of using of performance data and insight, VFM and continuous improvement to deliver successful services
  • Developed and lead an insight, research and development team
  • This represents a fantastic opportunity to play a lead role in transforming the Group’s performance reporting, improvement and insight capabilities to support our Improving Lives Strategy.The PersonPassionate and committed to delivering excellent insight and analytics, you will have significant expertise in leading successful performance reporting and insight services. Although it would be advantageous to have knowledge of the housing sector, it’s not essential. What is vital is your skills, energy and enthusiasm to deliver a top-class service.Highly customer focussed with demonstrable experience of developing and implementing performance improvement plans and strategies. In addition to your ability to analyse performance data and make recommendations for improvement, you will be highly skilled in the deployment of improvement techniques and methodologies that deliver positive change and a great customer experience.Highly motivated, with strong influencing skills you will ensure a Partnering’ approach to driving continuous improvement is embedded across the Group. You’ll have excellent negotiation skills and a track record of building highly effective relationships across a variety of stakeholders.You will be joining an ambitious and progressive organisation at a significant moment in our history.
