JR are working with an extremely highly regarded Financial Services organisation based in the East Midlands to find a Fund Compliance Manager. With a strong background in both Fund Management and Compliance, you will challenge key departments and clients relating to fund design, development and ongoing management ensuring that the product governance process and regulatory requirements are followed.With strong experience within the asset management industry and a thorough understanding of risk management with expertise in UCITS funds, you will be able to provide practical advice and be the subject matter expert for the business.Responsibilities:To promote and encourage risk culture that underpins the values and regulatory obligations and drives risk awareness and accountability within the business. To liaise with Investment Managers in relation to UCITs eligibility of investments and manage all initial and ongoing due dilligence processes. Overall responsibility for the Value Assessment processes and documentationAnalyse outputs from the compliance monitoring program to identify trends and weaknesses in the fund governance framework.Key skills:Strong demonstrable understanding of FCA regulations and relevant post-Brexit equivalent EU Directives as they apply to investment management.Good understanding of risk management concepts including practical experience of providing advice, oversight and challenge in relation to risk management framework implementation and key risk exposures.In-depth knowledge of product development processes, related regulation and associated best practice.Along with excellent technical skills, you will also have strong communication skills with attention to detail and you will be very organised.This role offers flexibility to work remotely however you must be available to work from the office two to three days a week.JR are advertising this role on behalf of the client.You may also have applied for roles such as: Rick Manager, Compliance Manager, Fund Investment Manager, Fund Management Required skills
