Job Description

FMC is supporting an excellent opportunity for a driven and tenacious individual with a keen interest in the healthcare industry and a strong commercial mindset to join a global medical device company. As part of our client’s continued growth, they’re seekinga Commercial Manager to join their team and help drive sales across the Midlands and East Anglia.The company Our client is a global medical device company that delivers leading solutions for individuals whose lives are impacted by reduced movement. They have established an unparalleled reputation for world-class customer service across their Safe Manual Handling,Specialist Seating, Service & Rentals product portfolio. The roleWithin this role, you will help to set regional-specific sales targets and create plans and initiatives for the business to exceed them. Through a combination of effective territory management and the creation of a network of key customer relationships, youwill ensure that revenue and gross margin objectives are met. Other responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies for each managed account
  • Establishing a comprehensive Business Plan for the Midlands and East Anglia
  • Identifying and prioritising opportunities for sales
  • Developing and aligning a local strategy
  • Working to drive product sales to support supplier partnerships
  • Liaising with business partners to maintain and build business relationships
  • Identifying and satisfying customer requirements
  • Maintaining a high level of business knowledge and competitor activity

  • Degree educated
  • 1+ years of experience in medical sales
  • A keen interest in the healthcare industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant industry segments
  • Proficient computer literacy skills (MS Office)
  • Driven, warm, and passionate
  • Commercial mindset
  • Impeccable presentation, organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Flexible and willing to travel across the UK
