Job Description

An opportunity has arisen within a leading Professional Services firm who are going through an exciting period of growth following significant recent PE investment. With offices located in London / Essex they seek a number of senior level individualsto jointheir growing team who can based from any office location, with a flexible hybrid pattern able to be agreed.The Senior Audit Manager role will be client facing, needing an individual with an excellent track record in Accountancy Practice and the ability to manage a team of Client Accountants. Some of the key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and planning the execution and completion of audits reporting to the senior leadership team.
  • Develop strong client relationships
  • Managing a team of Client Managers and Accountants
  • Review of company structure and ensure all new legislation is kept up to date to ensure clients are being tax efficient
  • Completion of own compliance work including preparation of accounts, tax computations and company, partnership and individual tax returns
  • Regular attendance at client meetings to discuss future strategies
  • Review of budgets and projections prepared by Client Managers
The Senior Manager role will work closely with other Directors across the Group with further responsibilities to:-
  • Liaise with financial institutions such as Banks, Factoring Companies, etc.
  • Ensure quality of work and all practice procedures conform with governing bodies.
  • Manage various projects to include: Finance raising, business planning, forecasting, etc.
  • Attend external events and represent the business in a professional manner
  • Supporting the Directors in the running of the Accountancy practice
The ideal individual will be accomplished in all areas of accounting, auditing and taxation and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.The role involves substantial contact with clients and staff, as well as many other individuals and organisations. You will have a professional approach to clients and colleagues and a firm commitment to providing top quality client service.You will have experience in:
  • Delegating and supervising team members on all financial related assignments
  • Delivering results and meeting client/Partner/Manager expectations
  • Experience in mentoring and training staff
