You will work in a supportive culture where theNursery Manager will provide guidance and assistance, helping you build your skills as a childcare professional.You should be a creative and approachable individual who is serious about your career as a Nursery Nurse / Nursery Practitioner. It is desirable that you have some previous experience of working within a nursery or children’s centre, and that you can plan/ support appropriate activities in line with EYFS (Early Years) outcomes.Alongside ensuring a safe, secure and caring environment, you will work with the senior nursery nurses / room leaders to inspire the children in your care to reach their full potential, interact positively with parents and other carers, and maintain quality,outcome focused observations on the children. The nursery looks after children between the ages of 6 months and 5 years, between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday. Nursery Nurses will be required to work 7 hours a day between these times. Typical shift patternsare 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm.You should hold either a Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ, Cache, NNEB or equivalent in Childcare or a similar subject, have a good understanding of OFSTED, Safeguarding and EYFS, previous childcare experience is desirable.In addition, you must hold or be prepared to undertake an Enhanced DBS disclosure.The Ten90 recruitment group is committed to equality and value diversity.
