Job Description

Are you passionate about teaching and learning Do you want to join a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to delivering high performance learning for all students If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!We are looking for a Quality HPL DET Lecturer to join our College and teach on our Diploma in Education and Training (DET) programme.You will be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing high quality teaching and learning that meets the needs of our diverse learners and employers. You will also be expected to implement the High Performance Learning (HPL) framework in your practice,which is a mission-driven approach that aims to develop the cognitive and personal competencies of every student.To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in your subject area
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent)
  • Experience of teaching and assessing on DET or similar programmes
  • Knowledge and understanding of the HPL framework and its principles
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
