Job Description

Edward Mann are currently recruiting for a leading Engineering Business located in East London. Our client is looking for a Data Analyst. This position will offer excellent progressions opportunities with the scope progress in the not too distant future.This position will be responsible for providing senior management teams with insightful reporting through data visualization to support the performance of their organisation.You will be responsible for gathering data from multiple data sources and providing your analysis on key performance indicators across the business to support key decision making process by management.Key Responsibilities

  • Attend regular meetings to discuss insightful business reports with your analysis
  • Seek to identify any areas where improvement is required and support through your data analysis how improvements may be made
  • Ensure the business is performing to set deliverables and raise any areas where the business is under-performing
  • Support the business in understanding key deliverables, how they are monitored and reported on to support optimal performance
  • Ensure the wider business fully understands the key importance of data driven decision making
  • Provide insight and analysis in budgeting & forecasting process for operational data
  • Provide regular reports including graphs & diagrams for internal and external use
  • Use various visualisation software to recognise insightful data trends and support your reporting and analysis
Desirables
  • Prior experience in a similar analytical role
  • Experience with using BI dashboards and data analysis tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to produce, present and discuss insightful data reports
