Data ArchitectOur client, trusted partner that helps connect millions of people globally is recruiting an Data Architect who has strong experience designingend-to-end data solutions across business functions whilst be able to lead on project implementation. The chosen candidatemust have recent industry experience working within retail, property or financial sectors coupled with direct project experience in developing single customer views using solutions like Customer Data Platforms (CDP). Our client is looking to pay a basic salaryof £80,000 (circa) plus a 25% bonus with other excellent benefits with the expectancy to be onsite one to two days per week in London.Role responsibilities:

• Significant experience in developing Single Customer view using solutions like Customer Data Platforms (CDP).
• Good experience in designing APIs and have things to say about caching, authentication and authorisation, schemas, REST, request validation, idempotency, partial updates, and eventual consistency.
• To shape and manage the future direction of our clients technology architecture, with a primary focus on our enterprise-scope Data domains, by:
• Develop the Master Data strategy for effective coordination and governance across our clients estate.
• Lead cross-functional Data design workshops to identify best-in-class solutions.
• Guide programs and teams on best practices and principles around Master Data Management especially around Customer Domain.
• Working closely with colleagues across our client to build and maintain valuable and productive working relationships and ensure that the needs of the business are met.
• Significant experience in defining data architecture and governance policies and principles in an organization, and the assurance processes to monitor compliance.
• Develop & maintain logical and physical data models and databases for business solutions, data dictionaries, and data governance frameworks.
• Significant experience in assuring and designing data migrations, including technology choices, reconciliation approaches, and implementation strategies.
• Develop and govern the enterprise Reference and Master data management standards.

Core skill set:

• Expertise in delivering data architecture across Customer Data Platform’s (CDP), Master Data Management (MDM), Data Warehouses, Operational Data Stores and In-memory data bases (Must Have)
• Expertise in data & integration architecture including topics such as service orientation, APIs, event-driven architectures, batch data integration, data lakes, ‘data mesh, data warehousing, data management, etc. (Must Have)
• Familiarity with patterns, practices, and frameworks of data architecture within retail, property or financial services (Must Have).
• Data modelling and architecting skills including strong foundation in data warehousing concepts, data normalization, and dimensional data modelling such as OLAP, or data vault (Must Have)
• Experience with UML (must have)
• An in depth understanding of Cloud solutions in Azure(must have).
• Expertise in governance and assurance for enterprise data (data models, resources, products, etc.) and integration (e.g., interfaces, Events, etc.)
• Database schema design and administration experience (for relational and non-relational systems) in a production environment.
