Automation Test Engineer required for a global software house in Glasgow.This company are growing quickly (stable industry, financial investment, new clients, lots of good stuff!) and are looking to add to technical team with a Test Engineer, focused on automation testing.They are in the process of rewriting and adding to their award-winning SaaS platform (moving away from the monolithic and into microservices) and are working with a range of modern tech (genuinely!). As a plus, the modern tech stack offers an interestingand challenging learning environment that creates employees with skills and knowledge in cutting-edge tech.As an Automation Engineer, youll be joining a strong test team, focusing on developing manual and automation testing across new and existing products. Although there is a focus on automation testing within this role, the team are happy to help you upskillin this area, so if you have a wee bit of experience with C# for automation testing, please do apply!Youll be someone who enjoys the collaborative process that goes along working practices such as DevOps and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD). Youll also be passionate about ensuring that the best tools and processes are being used, and happyto vocalise this - the team have set up a dedicated suggestion box for this, and genuinely follow through on trying out new ideas that can positively impact the business.You will have most of the following skills/experience:** Experience in a microservices environment** API testing experience** Automation testing experience - using C# for the backend (essential) and JavaScript (would be a bonus!)Location-wise, you will ideally be based local to Glasgow to come in for the day every so often, but the company can offer fully remote working as well.The salary on offer is up to £45,000.
