Our client has over the past 40 years become a major force in the world of water pumps and associated equipment, providing a wide range of services to an extremely broad and varied client base across Scotland.They provide full back up repair and maintenance coverage for the products, equipment, and services they supply and install in a variety of industries such as Agricultural, Oil & Gas, Marine, Biogas, Brewing & Distilling, Water & Power Leisure, and FoodProcessing.They are currently seeking a Contracts Electrician for one of their sites in East Kilbride (G75).Reporting to the electrical supervisor and project manager you will be working on MEICA projects for Scottish Water, completing surveys and build reports whilst running various projects dividing your time between site and the fit-out facility in East Kilbride.Candidates should be suitably qualified with 18th edition and have a good understanding of BS7671 and have experience working with schematics, cable blocks and specifications.Further qualifications such as HNC Electrical Engineering and experience of inspection and testing 2391 and working within the water industry would be a real bonus.Salary is circa £20 per hour plus Van, test gear, PPE, plant and equipment, sick pay, 25 Days Holiday + 9 Statutory Days and Company pension scheme.Typical earnings including travel to site at time and a half 45 minutes away is around £45,000 per annum / £900 per week.To apply please send your CV to Gary SimpsonRequired skills
