Win-Win!Were passionate about what we do and our people and live by our values:+ We live and breathe our values - excellence, innovation, fairness and trust.+ We believe the company culture is of huge importance and we empower our employees to contribute to this on a daily basis.+ We are a market leader and we promote from within.+ We constantly innovate and look for better ways.+ We give our people personal development plans and a road map that shows them what they need to do in order to get where they want to go.What you’ll be doing as a Warehouse Operative:The mission for this role is to ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials, to feed business operations and customer demand.You will follow all H&S procedures in Warehouse and contribute to a positive health and safety culture.Key Responsibilities include:+ Goods in: Receipt and storage of goods, loading and unloading of vehicles, checking off and returning unused kit+ FLT safety checks+ Goods out: Ensure kits are picked for installation teams; delivering stock to site when necessary.+ Stock control: Actively participate in weekly and monthly stock take; notify Logistics Manager of shortages; calculating consumable stock requirements.+ Facilities: ensuring warehouse and grounds are clean and presentable; ensure skips are emptied as required; daily/weekly/monthly H&S checks and relevant paperwork; monthly van checks; opening up /locking up procedures for building.+ Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedulesAbout You:+ Full Drivers licence+ Qualified and experienced Counterbalance Forklift Truck driver+ At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role+ Good level of numeracy and literacy+ Good organisational and record keeping skills+ Computer literate+ ERP experience is desirable (Oracle/Netsuite)+ Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills+ Can communicate effectively (both verbal and written) to all demographics within the business+ Ability to work unsupervised, use own initiative when solving problems+ Excellent attention to detailWhat’s in it for youOn top of a generous holiday allowance of 33 days holiday we will also give you your birthday off!
