SHOWROOM SALES CONSULTANT– KITCHEN REFURBISHMENT – STEWARTFIELD, EAST KILBRIDE – PART TIME – CIRCA £23,000 BASIC SALARY (PRO RATA) + PERFORMANCE BONUS + BENEFITSShowroom Sales Consultant required for the UK’s leading and award-winning kitchen makeover company. They specialise in renovating existing kitchens instead of replacing, typically saving customers 50% of the cost of replacement.Due to their continued growth and success, we are now recruiting for part time Showroom Sales Consultants to work from their Stewartfield, East Kilbride showroom.THE ROLE

• As Showroom Sales Consultant you will be the first point of contact for customers coming to the showroom and via telephone
• Gathering full customer requirements, what they are looking to achieve & their expected spend level.
• Arranging and booking appointments for a member of the team to carry out a home visit to present the sales possibilities & take measurements etc. Min of 10 appointments to be booked per week.
• Managing Sales diaries.
• Posting out brochures to customers
• You will be showing customers the products and service on offer e.g. Kitchen doors, worktops, handles, appliances etc.
• Helping customers choose colours, styles etc.
• Setting up the sales bags and samples ready for forthcoming sales appointments.
• Taking phone calls from potential and existing customers as well as suppliers
• Following up internet and email enquiries
• You will also be carrying out general admin duties.
• Completion of Profit Sheets post survey
• Placing Orders for all Doors, Trims, Worktops, Appliances, Handles etc
• Working with closely suppliers to ensure timely checking of all deliveries,
• Sending Contracts and Completion Certificates to head Office
• Ensuring the showroom is always clean and tidy, and the showroom displays are current
• Managing marketing material and doing stationary stock checks and ordering
• Working as a part of a small team, helping in all departments as business dictates
• This is a part time role working 24-30 hours per week
• Working days Monday to Saturdays – Days to be confirmed, Saturday working not essential
• Flexibility to do additional hours if required
• Working from the Stewartfield, East Kilbride showroom

THE PERSON

• The successful candidate will need to be motivated sales and customer focused individual. A natural communicator with an outgoing, enthusiastic, and confident personality
• No previous industry experience is necessary all we ask for is someone who ideally has experience working in a face-to-face customer sales and service environment
• The successful candidate must be able to work independently, often looking after the showroom on your own
• Confident, able to convert an enquiry into a lead or site visit
• Ideally be able to work Saturdays but not essential
• You must be IT proficient, able to use email, Word, Excel and the Microsoft suite
• Hands on and happy to help within all departments
• Live within a commutable distance to the Stewartfield, East Kilbride showroom

THE PACKAGE

• Circa £23,000 basic salary dependant on experience (pro rata for part time)
• Bonus commission scheme up to £4k per annum
