Job Description

Door Engineer / Technican £neg Benefits paid O/Time, paid Travel Time, 33 days A/L, Pension + Life Cover + van +++My client is recruiting an Industrial Door Engineer/Technician to join their field-based team in Scotland.This role would suit candidates living in the Midlands.The purpose of this role is to installation, service and maintain industrial doors and docking equipment within the Midlands.This role reports into the Operations Manager.My client is looking for candidates who have the following skills and attributes:

  • Apprentice-trained/time-served/fitters mate route or equivalent (i.e., electrically NVQ level 3) in a maintenance or installation-related field
  • Basic electrical knowledge - essential
  • Knowledge and/or experience of hydraulics - preferred but not essential.
  • Experienced within the industrial door or related industry, such as traffic gates/barriers.
  • Ability to work at height.
  • IT literate
  • UK driver’s licence - essential
