Job Description

Who you’ll be working for:We have a fantastic opportunity to join our client who is a laboratory equipment supplier based in East Kilbride as a Digital System Support Apprentice. Alongside lab equipment, they’ve been supplying a tailored service, since 1910. You will be working fora business which has people at the heart of everything they do. Over 100 years since they began in Glasgow, today the client serve the likes of Life Science, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical Production.Along with their sister company they have had a number of successful apprentices with QA. They hold a proud history of developing young talent and seeing them succeed for the rest of their professional career.Overview:You will work within the business helping to provide great servicethrough a number of different channels of communication. Overtime you will build strong relationships with colleagues and customers, and naturally gain more responsibility. Looking after financeand arranging all training for the wider business.Whilst gaining impeccable on the job learning you will also be working towards your SCQF Level 6 with QAKey responsibilities:

  • You will become the expert of main client relationship management tool – Business Central
  • You will use the tool in order to store notes and data to extract information internally
  • Become a first point of contact for the business when it comes to operating the CRM tool along with all other internal systems
  • Work collaboratively with all parts of the business and arrange the booking of staff training
  • Using Teams to arrange meetings and work around diaries
  • Running reports and manipulating data using Business Central to understand buyer habits and purchasing trends
  • Become a super user of ERM accounting system
  • Communicate electronically with customers using Outlook
  • Using all applications under Office 365
