Job Description

Calling all Support Workers looking for an attractive salary of up to £39,000 per annum, genuine wellbeing support, career progression, and paid training days - there is a long and fulfilling career waiting for you at Protective Care Group!About us:

About the role:
  • Day to day support.
  • Coaching and mentoring positive behaviour changes and life skills.
  • Supporting development and progression of young people.
  • Report writing.
  • Communicating effectively with the young person’s key stakeholders.
About you:
  • Professional or lived experience working with adults or young people with complex needs.
  • Able to remain calm, non-judgemental, kind, and resilient under pressure.
  • Not fazed by challenging behaviours, such as severe aggression, biting, punching, verbal abuse, sexualized behaviours, self-harm and absconding. Due to this, physical restraint can be involved.
  • Have a full UK driving licence.
  • Happy working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (including days and nights).
  • Happy potentially working away from your home area – even though we are advertising in a specific area, you need to able willing to potentially work anywhere in the North East of England.
