Job Description

LGV2, HGV2, C, LGV 2, HGV 2, CLASS 2 DRIVERS WELCOME REGULAR WORK AVAILABLE Staffline is recruiting for an HGV Class 2 drivers with immediate starts for our client based in South Tyneside.PAYE rates for the role of LGV2 driver are as follows: First 12 weeks -

  • Monday to Friday Days - £10.61 per hour
  • Monday to Friday Nights - £10.50 per hour
  • Saturday Days - £11.00 per hour
  • Saturday Nights - £11.40 per hour
  • Sunday - £12.00 per hour
  • Bank Holiday - £14.11 per hour
After 12 weeks worked -
  • Monday to Friday Days - £10.61 per hour
  • Monday to Friday Nights - £11.25 per hour
  • Saturday Days - £11.00 per hour
  • Saturday Nights - £11.40 per hour
  • Sunday - £12.00 per hour
  • Bank Holiday Days - £21.22 per hour
  • Bank Holiday Nights - £22.50 per hour
  • Overtime Days - £15.92 per hour
  • Overtime Nights - £16.88 per hour
Shifts available on all start times, predominantly on night shifts, across 7 days a week. Please also contact us to discuss our new, entirely optional, alternative arrangement, where a driver would receive a payment in lieu of holiday accrued, which is paid weekly as you work, rather than holiday pay being accrued to be taken at a later date. If you chose this option, you must still follow the standard holiday processes in respect of booking periods of time off from work and will be actively encouraged to take appropriate time off each year. Your Time at WorkAs an HGV Class 2 driver, the work will involve trunking parcels between depots and making deliveries in bulk to distribution locations in and around the North East and surrounding areas. You will be using a hand held scanner, loading and unloading at premiseswith multi drop up to 10 drops per shift (but often less and not to home properties). In return for your commitment we can offer regular shifts and start times that suit you. You will have good local geographical knowledge and good work ethic, ensuring healthand safety is followed at all time. Our Perfect WorkerAs an HGV LGV Class 2 driver, you will ideally have -
  • UK driving licence cat C
  • Recent experience of driving Class 2 vehicles
  • No more than 6 points
  • Digi card and DCPC
