Job title - Food / Catering AssistantLocation - RugbySalary - £8.72 per hourDuration - Zero hours contract but individuals must be available to work weekendsA charity that is dedicated to supporting the people of the automotive industry us looking for Food / Catering Assistants to join them at their residential, nursing, dementia and respite care centre, in Easenhall, Nr Rugby.You will be joining them at their purpose-built care centre, set within extensive and beautiful grounds in the village of Easenhall, between Rugby and Coventry and home to over 60 peopleAs a Food / Catering Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Keeping the kitchen area clean and tidy in line with food safety and hygiene policy

Help with food preparation

Mopping floors and cleaning work surfaces

General cleaning duties within the catering department

Stock rotation

Receiving deliveries with the ability to check and sign off

We are looking for a Food / Catering Assistant who has the following skills and experiences -

Previous experience working in a care home and / or a food handling qualification would be an advantage, however not essential as full training will be provided.
