This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in the drivingindustry. Key Responsibilities:1. Safely operate and maneuver large goods vehicles, specifically HGV Class 2 vehicles, in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.2. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are roadworthy and reporting any defects promptly.3. Accurately complete delivery notes, records, and other related paperwork.4. Efficiently load and unload goods, ensuring they are securely strapped and protected during transportation.5. Provide exceptional customer service while delivering goods, consistently representing our client in a positive and professional manner.6. Strictly adhere to specified delivery schedules, managing time effectively to ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks.7. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring it is properly maintained and undertaking basic maintenance tasks when required.Qualifications:1. Valid HGV Class 2 license, with relevant CPC and Digi tacho cards.2. Previous experience as an HGV driver, specifically with Class 2 vehicles.3. A strong understanding of relevant road transport laws and regulations.4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with exceptional time management skills.6.
