Job Description

Customer Service Assistant, £9.50 per hour 30 hours per week, friendly workplaceWould you like to work for a friendly farm shop where customer service is keyThe business supports local suppliers and sells some of the very best food and drink available.The work is very broad and could include;

  • Operating the till,
  • Serving on the Deli,
  • Organising Click and Collect,
  • Stocking shelves,
  • Checking and putting deliveries away,
  • Cleaning and tidying duties,
  • Updating our stock system with prices and stock levels
  • Lifting and carrying boxes of food and drink
The company prides iteself on delivering brilliant customer service, so full training will be provided to help you deliver this.Hours of work would be from 7am or 8am for 6 hours a day, five days a week (Tues to Sat) and are set hours so please only apply if you can commit to these.So what would we like to see from the Retail Customer Assistant
  • Someone who is hard working and an enthusiastic team player and are passionate and self-motivated in everything they do with a drive for achievement.
  • A people person, who can interact positively with both customers and colleagues, use their initiative, be flexible and willing to learn.
  • A good sense of humour is essential as is the ability to persuade, influence and build rapport with people
