Job Description

The RolePurchase Ledger - Immediate Start - Established Business - CramlingtonWe are supporting a growing manufacturer in Cramlington who are looking to appoint an experienced Purchase Ledger clerk on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract.This position will support a well established team with the extra workload that has come from natural growth. Duties of this role will include:

  • Processing purchase invoices in an accurate and timely manner - 3 way match
  • Liaises with creditors and purchasing to ensure queries are resolved in an acceptable period
  • Monitoring purchase order process and stock variances
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Preparing weekly payment runs
About YouThis position is suited to an experienced Purchase Ledger clerk who can hit the ground running.
  • Comfortable working within a high volume invoicing environment
  • Processes are often quite manual, so good knowledge of Purchase Ledger process is essential
  • Available to start in a contract position at fairly short notice
  • Commutable to Cramlington and happy to work in the office daily (some flex to work from home)
  • Comfortable picking up new IT systems

  • Circa £25,000 annual salary
  • Free parking on site
  • 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday
