Job Description

Are you an experienced Forklift Maintenance Technician looking for a new opportunity Interaction Recruitment are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our client’s team who are a leading company based in Newcastle upon Tyne.Responsibilities:

Servicing, maintaining, fault finding, and repairing forklift trucks and access machinery, including scissor lifts.
Conducting regular inspections to identify any potential issues and ensure optimal performance of the equipment.
Diagnosing and resolving technical problems efficiently to minimize downtime.
Carrying out routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating parts and replacing worn-out components.
Collaborating with the operations team to prioritize maintenance activities and coordinate repairs.
Keeping accurate records of maintenance work performed and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Travel to client sites to assist them with their technical issues

Requirements:

Proven experience in servicing, maintaining, fault finding, and repairing forklift trucks and access machinery, including scissor lifts.
Strong technical knowledge of forklift systems and components.
Ability to effectively diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Valid drivers license and forklift operator certification preferred.

Salary and Benefits:

Competitive salary ranging from £32,000 to £35,000 per year, based on experience.
