Job Description

Credit Controller - £26,000 to £30,000 BradfordAxon Moore are delighted to be partnering with a fast-expanding consumer technology business as they look to expand their finance team through the recruitment of a hands-on and passionate credit controller. This role is outstanding for anyone with Credit Control experience who is able to identify and resolve existing issues within the credit control function. Your value will have a direct impact on refining and improving currently used processes. This role hasmassive potentially for self-working development. This role also offers the opportunity to progress towards a management type role in the future. The Job: Whilst working as part of this rigorous and helpful team, you will have full control over your own ledger and would be responsible for the following duties:

  • Effective communication with customers for payment collection within agreed terms and timely recovery of debt
  • Working across multiple ledgers
  • Resolution invoice queries (both internally and externally) punctually; to decrease the delay of payment time
  • Agreeing and setting account credit terms and make recommendations following review
  • Accounts re-allocations
  • Payment Allocations
  • Assist with the production of the monthly credit control management
  • Negotiate and document agreed repayment plans when requested by a customer
  • Managing key accounts
  • Strong building of relationships with the sales and operations teams
  • Weekly and monthly reporting
The Person:
  • Previous experience of debt management within a busy credit function (essential)
  • Solid communication skills
  • Effective relationship builder
  • Strong experience with debt chasing and resolving queries
  • Highly motivated and committed to building a successful career
  • Be comfortable working in a fast paced and high volume environment
  • Solid organisational skills in being able to prioritise and complete multiple tasks on a daily basis
  • Be able to implement strategic initiatives across credit and collections
