Job Description

MILK Education are partnering with an ‘Good’ Primary school, who are looking for a strong Reception Teacher to start in a long-term post nearby Driffield. The post will start in September and will be maternity cover however the school will welcome the successful Teacher to start beforehand. This will allow the school to completea thorough handover and meet the students.You will be working in Reception class as the Reception teacher supporting children with their learning and development. This is full-time.The school is a 2 form-entry and will be working with a successful experienced EYFS Team who are very supportive. You will have 2 teaching assistants in the classroom.Key Responsibilities as a Reception Teacher:

Teaching all areas of the EYFS primary curriculum
Taking responsibility for the progress of a class of primary-age pupils
Organising the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment.
Planning, preparing, and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class, you will share planning with the other EYFS Teachers
Motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
Maintaining discipline

Required Skills & Experience as Reception Teacher:

EYFS experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Energy, enthusiasm, patience, dedication, resilience, and self-discipline.
