Job Description

Counterbalance Forklift DriverWe are recruiting for Counterbalance Forklift Driver in the Driffield area. Our client specialise in grain milling and flour milling.As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver you will need to have:

  • A valid license/certificate to operate FLT trucks (Counterbalance) - R.T.I.T.B or Equivalent
  • Experience in dispatch or warehouse environment would be beneficial
  • Ability to work full time, Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
  • Good level of spoken and written English
  • Own transport to get to site alternatively public transport is feasible.
    • Details:
  • Salary: depending on experience £9.25- £10.25 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Working Hours of Counterbalance Forklift Driver are 6am- 5pm and 10am- 9pm (shift rotation so candidate needs to be flexible)
  • Location: Driffield
  • Duration: Ongoing
    • Role of a Counterbalance Forklift Driver:
  • Adhering to onsite health and safety regulations
  • Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the facility
  • Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following stock control instructions
  • Checking loads are secure
  • Performing daily equipment checks
