REED are working with a fantastic organisation, recruiting for the position of HR Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis, based just outside of Norwich (north).Working alongside the HR Advisor and HR Manager, you will be providing efficient day to day HR support to the business and its employees.Key Responsibilities Input information into databases, maintain paperwork and computer systems for employee records Support with incoming HR inbox queries Filing, scanning, dealing with post Help to manage the HR inbox and respond to a range of internal and external queries Producing letters, induction packs, offer letters, handbooks, polices/procedures, forms, minutes and other HR related correspondence Create offer packs, contracts of employments, change to contract letters Support the administration of the DBS process and ID checks Assist with health and safety issues including recording training information Setting up meetings and welcoming visitors Assist with starters paperwork queries, checking paperwork to ensure that starters meet legal requirements and policy requirements and that all documentation is present and completed. Exploring any issues and ensuring they are dealt with Assist with the recruitment, designing and writing adverts, placing adverts, producing timetables, producing letters and e-mails, responding to queries and concerns, marking tests and supporting managers Processing Leavers records, exit interviews and record data for future analysis. Assisting with ad hoc projects Maintain the HR section of the website, updating and finding ways to improve it. Administration of training, booking and marketing events, booking and cancelling delegates, producing monthly training reports, maintaining the training diary and co-ordinating trainers availability to produce new training calendars each year. Providing employees with training on Recruitment and HR systems Ensure the payroll team have all necessary information required Collate sickness, absence and holiday info, ensure systems are updated and producing reports Support with employee engagement activities Updating policies and the staff handbook.Requirements Existing HR Experience within an Assistant/Administrative role is desirable but not essential Excellent organisation and time management with ability to manage multiple projects at once Strong focus on customer service and delivering positive outcomes Accuracy, attention to detail Confidential working manner and sensitivity Personable and able to work well in a team Strong Communication skills both written and verbal Presentable and professional Driven and self motivated GCSE English and Maths grade C or equivalent Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookPackage Salary of £22,000 - £23,400 dependant on experience Annual leave Free parking Opportunities for progression and development Support with training Company discountPlease apply online asap if youre interested with your updated CV, or share with someone you know who may be interested
