Job Description

Better Healthcare Services provide a high quality of care and support to people in the Norfolk community, due to the increased demand for healthcare staff we are increasing our team numbers to provide care and support to people with health and social care needs living in their own homes. We are currently recruiting home care assistants to join the domiciliary care team in our Norwich branch. We are in need of caring, compassionate and reliable individuals who want to make a difference to the lives of others.Responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Providing support with personal are
  • Supporting with Moving and Handling
  • Maintaining Household Tasks
  • Promoting independence and providing social support
  • Administering/Prompting medication
  • Preparing meals and assisting with eating and drinking
  • Monitoring, observing and reporting and changes/ concerns regarding services users’ safety and wellbeing.
    • Successful candidates will be working in the Taverham and Drayton areas of Norwich, and will have the availability to cover 7am-2pm and 4pm-10pm shifts, including alternate weekends.Previous care experience is useful however it is not essential as we will provide you with full training to give you the skills and knowledge needed for the role.Why join us
