Job Description

Are you a proactive, experienced Sales Administrator, who is looking for a busy, fast paced role in a well established company in DraycottWe are working with a fantastic client based on the outskirts of Derby who are looking for a sales administrator to join their team and look after a small portfolio of their own existing customers. You will be responsible for preparing pricing and quotations,dealing with customer enquiries and responding to in-coming orders and processing invoicesTo be considered for the role, youll require the following essentials:

  • The ability to work as part of a team and have excellent communication skills are essential to this role.
  • A professional and courteous approach to customers and colleagues
  • A high level of attention to detail is essential at all times to ensure the highest standard of customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within a sales environment and have excellent administration skills. You will have the ability to prioritise your workload effeiciently and keep to strict deadlines.Within this position, youll also be:
  • Keeping in touch with your own portfolio of customers to ensure needs are being me
  • Processing orders received by phone, fax and email with a high level of accuracy
  • Responding quickly and efficiently to all new in-coming sales enquires by telephone, fax and e mail
  • Preparing pricing & quotations when required and follow up all enquires
  • Ensuring that all customer record files are updated with relevant information by the recording of sales, price adjustments, sample request and contact details
  • Liaising at all times with colleagues and work as a team
  • Keeping up to date with new product developments, increase product knowledge to ensure ability to discuss with customers
  • To familiarise yourself with the customer satisfaction objectives and ensure they are carried out at all times and be aware of the quality management system and your role within it
  • Working as a team to ensure we provide excellent customer service to our customers
  • Carrying out general office duties including: filing, meet & greet, etc
  • To follow processes as set out in the General Office Procedures
