Health, Safety, Environment Advisor - 3 month contract, inside IR35This is £400 - £450 day rate and sits inside IR35 (must be via umbrella) and we require someone to start in January 2024.Job Title, Interim HSE AdvisorReports into, Group HSE ManagerLocation, DraycottHours, 38 (8am – 5pm Mon-Thurs and 8am -12noon Friday) – unfortunately there is no flexibility and they would need you on site every day. Site, a lower tier COMAH manufacturing facility with a headcount of 170.Vacancy overview, To be based at the Draycott facility where they manufacture specialist pyrotechnics for signalling, illumination, screening and for battlefield training and simulation, obstacle clearance systems and civil defence and security companies.The role is supporting the group manager in implementing the H&S procedures, carry out site inspections, project work, safety planning.There is a focus for improvement on the Draycott site, looking for someone to ensure compliance, encourage positive behaviours and support high standards on site.The successful candidate will engage with the workforce, improve and close gaps in compliance and provide support with documentation and hands on direction.Ideally the candidate would be a good listener, able to ask the right questions and able to translate technical requirements to usable and simple solutions.Qualifications,

NEBOSH certificate as a minimum
COSHH and Fire qualification/ experience would be ideal
High risk manufacturing experience is essential, COMAH experience is an advantage
