An exciting opportunity for a driven individual to assist in quality control, product development, and general process improvementTrainee is provided and a typical day for theTrainee Engineer may include:Using Vernier, Micrometer, Rockwell Hardness testing equipment, and in-house CMM (Co-Ordinate Measuring Machine) to assist in the completion of quality control of the productsUsing our ERP system to retrieve and manipulate data for stock recordsUsing Autodesk Inventor to create 3D models and production drawings for new items being added to our rangeLiaising with our suppliers via email and telephoneSupport our current engineering team with day-to-day tasks and housekeepingWarehousing duties to control stock levels in the QC departmentTo apply for the position of Trainee Engineer you will need:An engineering qualification or about to start studying engineering at collegeStrong IT skills including Microsoft Outlook and ExcelBe open to/seeking out new experiences, skills and informationA positive "Can Do" attitude and be able to shoulder responsibility and pressure within tight timescales and ensure multiple tasks on multiple deadlines can be met at the same timeVery keen attention to detail, the role requires a high degree of thoroughness to get jobs completedTravail employment group is operating as an employment agency.
