Job Description

Venatu Recruitment is proud to announce that we are now working with a fantastic new client based in Rotherham who is now looking for a Technical Trainer to join their team due to recent expansion and growth!The company specializes in the power generation sector and have recently extended their services into a wide range of industrial sectors including Petro-Chemical, Chemical, Paper, Cement and Food and Beverage! Theyve played a huge pari in themaintenanceand life extension of the majority of the UK’s fossil fuel power generation fleet and have played a significant role in the evolution and maintenance of the country’s growing Biomass and Energy from Waste fleet.Due to this growth theyre looking for an Technical Trainer based in Doncaster between paying between £35K - £40K!The type of candidate theyre looking for is:

  • H&S Qualification such as IOSH Managing Safety or NEBOSH.
  • Full Teaching Qualification i.e. Cert Ed, C&G 7407 Cert or Diploma in Teaching Adults.
  • Ability to be able to deliver ECITB Training courses
  • Full TAQA or A1 and or V1
  • First Aid at Work (Desirable)
  • Management qualification at L3/5(Desirable)
  • Ability to deliver City & Guilds Confined Space course(Desirable)
  • FLT (Counterbalance)(Desirable)
Your main objective is:
  • to coordinate the commercial training business unit for the Doncaster facility. You will be working closely with colleagues to coordinate and deliver the core training centre activities ensuring we are deliver a quality service, commercially effective,well received and continuously improved.
Your main duties will be:
  • To facilitate development of bespoke training solutions for clients in addition to development of new courses to add to the portfolio.
  • To deliver a range of qualifications, including the portfolio of courses delivered through: ECITB (CCNSG, Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels), CITB (SSP Suite), Qualsafe (First Aid at Work), and IOSH (Managing Safely, Occupational Health and Safety, Health,Environment for Construction Workers).
  • To facilitate the training facility including the coordination of training delivered by our commercial partners.
  • To coordinate observation of teaching and learning standards and assessment of the portfolio.
  • To lead on the qualification audits and lead audits with the relevant accrediting body account manager.
  • To take responsibility for monitoring and achieving compliance and quality standards, carrying out regular audits and observations, handling any non-compliance issues and providing remedial action and coaching as necessary.
  • Coordinating with the team to achieve objectives, with responsibility for performance management and development
