Are you looking for the right role for you Then look no further…Supply Chain ManagerSalary - Circa £37,425 per annum (plus benefits)Hours - 37.5 hours per week, 8.30am to 5.00pmLocation - Home BasedReporting into the Head of C&I, the Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the third-party supply chain function.This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week. The job role includes national travel, so a full UK driving licence and the ability to travel throughout the UK are required.Our promise to you- Competitive salary- 25 days’ annual leave (full-time working) plus Bank Holidays- Pension scheme- Life insurance- Discretionary bonus scheme- On the job training and progression- Recognition scheme- Refer a friend- Flexible benefits including high street savings, cycle to work scheme and Gymflex membership, holiday purchase and many more- Access to an Employee Assistance Programme and the Best Doctors Service via our Wellbeing PlatformWhat will you be doing- Management of the supply chain function ensuring delivery of KPIs on supplier selection, annual cost negotiation, vetting, processing supplier payments, compliance and contract administration.- Management of the outsourced waste services function ensuring that service requests are dealt with providing effective solutions.- Ensure all employees and sub-contractors are suitably trained.- Management of the annual cost increase and maximising yield in line with targets.- Managing the Mobilisation Team to ensure high service levels.- To keep abreast of development and best practice in the waste management field and make recommendations accordingly.- Establish relationships with third party service providers.- Co-ordinate, monitor and report upon supplier performance.- Collate competitive pricing.- Manage a supplier database indicating all known suppliers in the UK.- Deliver on time and to tight deadlines.What are we looking for- Team management skills- A full, valid driving licenceAbout UsWe are FCC Environment, one of the nation’s leading waste and resource management companies.
