Job Description

Contract SupervisorDoncaster£40,000 - £45,000Company Van ProvidedWe are working with our Highly prestigious Client, who is seeking to hire a supervisor to join their Highways team to deliver works in Doncaster and Surrounding area. This is permanent position, 40 hours a week. As a Supervisor, the Ideal candidate will beconducting highways activities and deliver planned works across area and managing workforce and subbies.Responsibilities for Contract Supervisor

  • Managing and supervising operatives onsite.
  • Liaising and supervising specialist subcontractors whilst on project.
  • Liaising with clients, Local Authorities and other supervisors and ensure the effective delivery of Highway services are complete.
  • Ordering of plant and materials on daily basis
  • Undertake site inspections/inductions prior to work starting.
  • Assist in preparation of weekly cost and value reports.
  • Maintain site diary.
  • Produce and adhere to works programme.
  • Regular check of vehicle appearance inside and out
  • Actively foster a positive staff morale
  • Willingly carry out any reasonable task as requested by a member of management.
  • Out of hours call out may be required.
  • Day and Night shift work – When required.
Skills and Qualifications required:
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Experience working on Highways.
  • Highways Supervisor experience
  • HNC or NVQ equivalent.
  • SSSTS, IOSH or similar.
  • NRSWA
