Job Description

Office Administration AssistantLocation: Office-based Parkgate, Rotherham, S60 1SDJob Type: Permanent/Full time; 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 1-hour unpaid lunch break) / hours can be negotiable (between 30-35 hours) but must be over 5 days per week.Salary/Package: DoE, plus 25 days holiday + public holidays, cash-back health scheme, group life cover, pension scheme & plenty of fun-filled eventsAbout the Company:SALUS is an engineering design & brand distribution company providing energy control solutions to professional market channels throughout Europe.As Office Administration Assistant you will provide support to a very busy sales office – you will learn our processes & cover various tasks that help make an efficient sales office team. You will answer incoming calls and learn the end-to-end customer order process. You will be responsible for processing customer returns & provide important administrative support to our “on-the-road” sales team.This is varied role and would be suitable for someone who is eager to learn and develop their skills in customer service and sales/administration. A confident and hands-on approach is a must! Lots of training, support & opportunities will be provided.Office Administration Assistant Responsibilities:

  • The job holder will do all tasks within his/her level of skill and ability.
  • Answer incoming calls (high volumes during winter) & direct to the appropriate person/department.
  • Process sales orders & book-in delivery of orders with customers
  • Send invoices to customers.
  • Upload documents to SAP Business One
  • Responsible for processing Customer Returns, arrange collection & answer queries relating thereto
  • Provide advice to customer on pricing & delivery of orders.
  • Contact customers by email/telephone regarding promotions and satisfaction surveys.
  • Provide administrative support to the UK sales team; sending out brochures/flyers/promotional items, creating databases, attending sales meetings & taking accurate Action Points, diary management as and when required.
  • Support ad-hoc projects
  • First point of contact for visitors into the office.
  • Sorting & distributing incoming/outgoing post
  • Purchase office supplies
  • Ensure sales office is kept clean & tidy
  • Maintaining internal contacts lists & provide admin support to the Head of HR & Administration when required.
  • Office Administration Assistant Requirements:
  • GCSE Grade A-C in English and Maths, or equivalent (essential)
  • Experience within a similar role (essential)
  • Customer service focused (essential)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint (essential)
  • Excellent communication skills (essential)
  • Confident & clear telephone manner – happy to engage & speak to customers (essential)
  • Pro-active and hands-on attitude (essential)
  • Enthusiastic & eager to learn (essential)
  • Knowledge of SAP Business One (desirable)
