Job Description

About The RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Person to join the team at:Location: Water Royd House, Locke Road Gilroyd, Dodworth South Yorkshire S75 3QH 40 hours a week. £9.50 per hourReporting to the Care Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the general maintenance of the care home, ultimately ensuring the safety of all residents, visitors and employees.About YouOur ideal Maintenance Person will have the following skills and values:

  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Experience of DIY and decorating.
  • Caring nature.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
  • Flexibility and be able to adapt to the needs of Residents.
  • A Health & Safety or Maintenance qualification is desirable.
