The Red Cell Immunohaematology department provides reference and blood provision services to regional hospitals using advanced red cell immunohaematology techniques. The HHTO role is to provide support work to the department including sample processing and testing, reagent production, clerical support and cleaning.To be considered you will need either, an A level or NVQ level 3 in a Science subject, hold or be working towards a Foundation Degree or have extensive experience of working within a laboratory.NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) offers a dynamic and friendly working environment where teamwork is highly valued. As we work within a regulated environment keeping clear, accurate records is an essential requirement of the role.Personal development is also considered a priority and is supported through extensive training and development opportunities open to all employees.The working pattern for this post is full time, 37.5 hours per week over 5 days – between 07:00 and 22:00.
