Job Description

Weighbridge Operative / Near Diss, Norfolk / £8.75 per hour / Temporary / Immediate startHales Group are currently recruiting for a Weighbridge Operative to join our client based near Diss, Norfolk.Monday-Saturday / 05.00am – 16.00pm / £8.75 per hour / Hours worked over 40 paid at ovetimeRESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Filling in the weighbridge sheet, split weighing not allowing driver to proceed unless paperwork is correct
  • Scanning in all paper work for each batch delivered to the factory back to the farms office
  • Completing transport sheets and journey times to be added onto spreadsheets
    • As the above duties have significant times between each lorry delivery, additional tasks will involve working with the Security / Social Distancing Manager to ensure:
  • Staff car parks are kept clear of any rubbish
  • Social distancing is maintained in outside areas of the factory
  • Support the H&S team in ensuring shift changeover (car park) goes smoothly and does not hinder the lorries arriving on site
  • Any other additional duties that may be required to support social distancing and security
    • SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Ability to use excel
  • Clear handwriting skills
  • Numerate
  • Ability to get on with all levels of management
  • Good Communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Able to analyse data
