Job Description

A leading engineering business in Diss are looking to hire an experienced Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer, on a full time permanent basis.Primarily focused on supporting Supplier Quality, youll support the businesses Supply Chain Quality needs by developing internal processes in relation to ISO standards and the organisations Quality Assurance requirements.Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage Supplier Quality Assurance whilst advising upon Quality Control.
  • Facilitate PPAPs, PFMEAs and reviewing documentation from Suppliers.
  • Ensure IMDS requirements are adhered to.
  • Implement a focus on Quality to the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process.
  • Support the development of Suppliers Quality Performance, managing appropriate KPIs and measures whilst facilitating Root Cause Analysis
  • Manage supplier accreditations
In order for your application to be considered, youll need to demonstrate:
  • Quality Engineering experience from within manufacturing.
  • International Material Data System (IMDS) Awareness
  • Understanding of ISO accreditations
  • PPAP/APQP experience
  • Continuous Improvement and Root Cause Analysis experience
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
