Job Description

Sales Administrator – 9-12 Month Maternity Cover Contract – Full time – Salary NegotiableWe are recruiting for an experienced Sales Administrator on behalf of are well-established client based in Stanton, a short drive from Bury St Edmunds, Diss and Stowmarket. This is a maternity cover contract lasting approximately 9 – 12 months.Working as a key member of the Sales & Marketing team; the successful candidate will find themselves with a varied, busy workload. They will act as a primary point of contact for all customers, dealers, field sales teams and manufacturing, so being an organised, communicative ‘people person’ is a must!The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm(1 hour for lunch).Main duties include:

  • To co-ordinate the receipt of orders and liaise with manufacturing regarding availability, scheduling and delivery of our products
  • Managing communications from customers, dealers and sales personnel, ensuring these are dealt with quickly and efficiently
  • Assisting the Sales Director with advertising and marketing
  • Managing the website and keeping social media accounts up to date

  • Working with our Area Sales Managers to ensure that relevant demonstrations machines are available and in position at the right time
  • Key requirements include:
  • The confidence to deal with people at all levels
  • IT literate
  • Customer service experience
  • Good organisation skills
  • Being proactive with time and project management/workload
  • A knowledge or background in agriculture would be beneficial but not essential
